TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

Platforms

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the area where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
