TabTrade — The Short Version
Tab Trade went live in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade did the opposite. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker this new, the breadth is broad.
The Software
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That would be a good addition when it lands.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the part you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, stop reading. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not make it safe. It does factor into how you think about it.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it is your call.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you deposit.
